HUM 195 Theorizing Dance and Language, taught by Cynthia Hansen, Anthropology, and Celeste Miller, emeritus Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies. In this course, participants will play the role of detectives, exploring cross-disciplinary collaboration between linguistics and choreography, fields that both study human expression. Students will delve into how these fields intersect and diverge, and how ideas flow between them in cross-disciplinary partnerships. Course travel takes place in Prague (spring break 2025) and London (May 2025).
